Analysis of Strengthening Character Education through Pancasila Education Learning in Elementary Schools

This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education strengthening through Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of teachers and fifth-grade students in an elementary school. The findings indicate that character education has been integrated into learning activities through lesson planning, learning implementation, and assessment. Teachers strengthen students' character by applying discussion methods, group work, problem-solving activities, and exemplary behavior. The dominant character values developed include responsibility, discipline, cooperation, honesty, respect, and nationalism. Supporting factors include teachers' commitment, school culture, and parental involvement, while obstacles include differences in students' backgrounds and limited learning time. The study concludes that Pancasila Education learning plays a strategic role in developing students' character and preparing them to become responsible citizens.
