On the one hand, sugarcane plantations contribute to economic activity, employment opportunities, and the sustainability of the sugar industry. On the other hand, the management of agrarian resources within the sugarcane plantation sector may generate issues concerning the distribution of land control, access to resources, relationships between landowners and tenant farmers, and power relations among local communities, plantation companies, government institutions, and other local actors. This study aims to analyze power relations and inequalities in agrarian access within the sugarcane plantation sector in Cikedung, Indramayu Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach with a critical perspective and a descriptive-analytical method. Research data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, and a literature review. The analysis draws upon Michel Foucault's perspective on power relations and Ribot and Peluso's theory of access. The findings indicate that agrarian access is determined not only by formal land ownership but also by actors' capacity to control economic capital, social networks, information, policies, technology, and institutional legitimacy. Power relations within the sugarcane plantation sector are shaped through interactions among the state, plantation companies, landowners, tenant farmers, agricultural workers, and local communities. Inequalities in access emerge when certain groups possess greater capacity to control agrarian resources, while communities with weaker economic and political positions tend to have limited access to land and livelihood resources. These conditions demonstrate that agrarian issues in Cikedung are not merely concerned with the distribution of land but also involve power structures that determine who has the capacity to obtain, maintain, and control access to agrarian resources. Therefore, more inclusive, transparent, and equitable agrarian governance is needed, with stronger mechanisms to empower local communities and ensure their meaningful participation in decision-making processes concerning the utilization and management of agrarian resources.
2026-07-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 GENAWUAN https://www.genawuan.stkipalaminindramayu.ac.id/index.php/genawuan/article/view/71 The Function of Child-Friendly Schools at the Mutiara Insani Kindergarten in Cipancuh Village 2025-09-14T03:52:13+00:00 Aura Salwa Sabillah Aura aurasalwaa@gmail.com Abdul Somad rajaangin78@gmail.com Nurkholis Majid nurkholism673@gmail.com
This research is motivated by the problem of How is the role of child-friendly schools in preventing bullying in early childhood at KB Mutiara Insani? This study analyzes the strengthening of religious moderation through academic culture at Institut Studi Islam Al-Amin Indramayu, focusing on value internalization, the role of academic culture, implementation barriers, and institutional strategies. A descriptive qualitative case-study design was employed. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with six purposively selected informants—one campus leader, two lecturers, one student organization administrator, and two active students—along with non-participant observation of academic and religious activities and document analysis of curricula, semester learning plans, academic guidelines, student programs, and institutional activities. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while credibility was ensured through source and technique triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that religious moderation is strengthened through dialogic learning, lecturer role modeling, student organizations, discussion forums, religious activities, and community service. Academic culture provides a practical arena for internalizing tolerance, non-violence, national commitment, and acceptance of local culture. Participants understood moderation as balanced, respectful, context-sensitive, and non-extreme religious practice. However, moderation values have not been consistently translated into measurable learning outcomes and evaluation instruments. Major barriers include unequal student understanding, uncritical exposure to digital religious content, and fragmented institutional evaluation. The study concludes that academic culture is a strategic foundation for religious moderation and should be reinforced through explicit curriculum integration, lecturer development, student-centered programs, religious digital literacy, and continuous evaluation across study programs.
2026-07-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 GENAWUAN https://www.genawuan.stkipalaminindramayu.ac.id/index.php/genawuan/article/view/394 Analysis of Strengthening Character Education through Pancasila Education Learning in Elementary Schools 2026-07-24T13:23:26+00:00 pgsd pgsd Fikriazizmasduki08@gmail.com Wildani Ali Putra wildanali05@gmail.com Ahmad Fikri Aziz Masduki Fikriazizmasduki08@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education strengthening through Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools. The background of this study is the low understanding of simple present tense among students, especially beginners. The objectives of this research are: (1) to examine the effect of using gamification on students’ understanding of the simple present tense, and (2) to identify the difference and effectiveness of gamification in English language learning. The research method applied was quantitative with a pre-experimental design (one group pre-test post-test design). The population consisted of 49 seventh-grade students of MTs Al-Amin Anjatan in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 31 students randomly selected. The instrument used was a validated multiple-choice test, and the data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The results of the data analysis show that the significance value (two tails) of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. From the pre-test and post-test measurements, there was a 79% increase in the scores for understanding the simple present tense.
