Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of using Google Classroom on the learning participation of fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 2 Babakanjaya. The research aims to determine the extent to which Google Classroom can improve students’ participation in online learning activities. A quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design was employed. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data analysis used Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed that the use of Google Classroom was categorized as fair with an average score of 27.035, while student participation was also categorized as fair with an average score of 26.928. The correlation test result indicated a very low relationship (r = 0.1) between the use of Google Classroom and student participation. This finding implies that Google Classroom does not significantly influence student participation in learning.
