Building of Early Childhood Personality through Routine Activities at SPS Anggrek Ganda Sari, Patrol District

Abstract

This study aims to examine how routine activities and habituation contribute to the development of early childhood personality at SPS Anggrek Ganda Sari, Patrol Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency. Routine activities and habituation are essential components of early character education, as they help children learn values such as discipline, responsibility, independence, and social behavior. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of routine activities such as lining up, praying together, and tidying up toys and habituation practices such as greeting, sharing, and maintaining cleanliness foster the development of disciplined, independent, and responsible personalities in children. Thus, routine activities and habituation significantly contribute to shaping early childhood personality in educational settings.
